Your Role in Our Journey:
The Account Manager brings a high level of organization, strategic planning, relationship management, and leadership to client services. Reporting to the Manager of Client Services, this role is responsible for managing a portfolio of association clients, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for each account, ensuring exceptional service delivery from the full account team and alignment with client goals.
Your role in action:
Association Management
Customer satisfaction, and acting a point of contact for client needs
Managing the high-level and daily needs of a varied portfolio of clients
Building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their stakeholders and managing volunteers
Managing or supporting various client projects including marketing and communications initiatives, membership registration drives and more; coordinating to ensure on-time and accurate delivery
Preparing and delivering weekly/monthly reporting to clients and management as needed
Board/committee meeting planning, minute-taking and follow-up on actions items
Maintaining up-to-date databases (sponsorship, attendee, membership, etc.)
Stepping in to support challenging situations if they arise, and keeping Director apprised on progress, challenges, etc.
Lead and manage general communication needs, email campaigns and website updates
Ongoing learning of new tools, software, and best practices to improve personal job performance and client efficiency on an ongoing basis
Completion of other tasks essential to the successful delivery of scope and/or at Managements’ request
Executive Director Services
This position may also involve assignment to 1-2 client portfolios (as part of the accounts you are responsible for above, not in addition to) to lead at an executive level. Some executive-level services include:
Developing and executing annual project plans, delegation within the internal team, overseeing and ensuring accountability on delivering from the entire team
Annual planning, including budget development and management, and assisting with governance and or business development
Confidently and accurately supporting leadership of boards in governance proceedings, and presenting reports to the board on behalf of Redstone/client team
You’ll Thrive in this Role if:
You have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Communications, Not-for-Profit Management, or a related field;
You excel at building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams;
You have 8+ years of relevant, association or board leadership experience;
You are highly organized and can successfully manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Serious Bonus Points if:
You have experience working with association management companies, or agencies; and/or
You have experience working with Boards of Directors, committees, and/or in the not-for-profit sector, and understand board governance and how volunteer leadership operates; and/or
You are bilingual in English / French (an asset), with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Compensation Expectations for the Role:
We believe in fair, transparent, and growth-focused compensation. Our salary bands are designed to ensure equity across roles (and internally). We recognize and reward experience – strong, seasoned candidates may start higher within the band.
Base Salary: $72,000 - $87,000
French-speaking stipend - $5,000 per annum (additional)
Executive Director stipend - $5,000 per annum (additional)
